Terms of Use

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Who we are

UniqList ("UniqList", "we", "us") is operated by Alterno Agency (Alterno Group, LLC), San Juan, Puerto Rico. By creating an account or using UniqList on the web, iPhone, iPad or Android, you agree to these Terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done with your account. Tell us right away at hello@alternoagency.com if you think your account was accessed without permission.

3. Plans and subscriptions

UniqList offers a Free plan and paid plans: Personal, Family and Business. Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance. What each plan includes and its price are shown on our Pricing page. We will tell you before a price change affects your next renewal.

Business includes 8 members. Extra members are billed per person for the same period as your plan.

The Founding 500 offer gives a discount on the first year of a yearly plan only. After that first year, it renews at the regular yearly price in effect at that time.

4. Billing, renewal, plan changes and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card is accepted on all plans and bank account (ACH) on yearly plans. Applicable sales taxes may be added at checkout.

You can switch between plans and between monthly and yearly from My subscription. Stripe automatically charges or credits the prorated difference.

You can cancel anytime from My subscription. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your lists are not deleted.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not give credits for partial periods. If you were charged by mistake, contact us within 30 days.

5. Sharing, guests and list chat

You can share lists with other people by email. Guests can view and edit the lists you share with them. You are responsible for who you invite and what you share.

On Family and Business, shared lists include a chat. Everyone on the list can read the messages posted there. You are responsible for what you post. Do not use the chat to harass, threaten, spam or share illegal content. You can delete your own messages, and we may remove messages or suspend access when these Terms are broken.

Message alerts are optional. You turn them on per device and can turn them off at any time from the chat or your browser settings.

6. Integrations

Share by WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with the text of your list; WhatsApp's own terms apply to what you send there.

Import reads files you choose from other apps, such as Todoist, Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do, and creates tasks in your account.

The calendar link is a private address that lets calendar apps such as Apple Calendar, Outlook or Google Calendar show your dated tasks. Anyone who has the link can see those tasks, so keep it private. You can change the link at any time, and the old one stops working.

Integrations marked "Coming soon" are not available yet and are not guaranteed.

7. AI features

Features such as Uniq AI, Tasky, Uniq Voice and translation suggestions use artificial intelligence. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so review it before relying on it. Translations are only applied when you approve them, and your original text is always kept. Paid plans include generous but limited AI usage to keep the service fair for everyone.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use UniqList to break the law, harass others, send spam, upload malicious code, try to access other people's data, or overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

9. Your content

Your lists, tasks, notes and messages belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run and improve UniqList for you and the people you share with.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep UniqList available and secure but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. Features marked "Coming soon" are not guaranteed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, UniqList is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using UniqList and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Questions: hello@alternoagency.com.
