Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains what information Alterno Agency (Alterno Group, LLC) ("UniqList") collects, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile.

Your content: lists, tasks, notes, shopping items, reminders, profile details and list chat messages you add.

Voice: when you use Uniq Voice or talk to Tasky, your recording is sent for transcription or a spoken reply and is not stored after it is processed.

Message alerts: if you turn them on, we store a technical address for your browser or device so we can send you notifications. It is deleted when you turn alerts off.

Calendar link: we store a private random token for your calendar link. Calendar apps that use it receive your dated tasks.

Imported files: files you import are read in your browser. Only the tasks created from them are saved, not the file.

Payments: billing is handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, status and limited details, such as the last 4 digits of a card. We never receive your full card or bank number.

Technical data: device type, language, app version and basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use it

To provide and sync UniqList across your devices; to power AI features you choose to use; to share lists and chat messages with the people on those lists; to send message alerts you turned on; to process subscriptions; to send service emails (such as sign-up confirmation or password reset); and to prevent abuse and fix problems.

4. AI processing

When you use Uniq AI, Tasky (in the app or on our homepage) or translation suggestions, the relevant text or audio is sent to our AI providers to generate a result. Providers process it only to return that result to us and may not use it to train their models. Translations are cached so the same text is not sent again. Your homepage conversation with Tasky is saved only in your own browser.

5. Who can see your information

Lists, tasks and chat messages are visible only to you and the people on the lists you share. Guests see only the lists shared with them.

We share data with service providers that help us run UniqList: hosting and database, AI processing, email delivery, payments (Stripe) and browser notification services. They act under contracts that protect it. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete lists, tasks and your own chat messages at any time, turn off message alerts, and change your calendar link. You can ask us to delete your account and data by writing to hello@alternoagency.com. We will do so within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access rules make sure only you and the people you share with can see your lists and messages. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to use these rights.

9. Children

UniqList is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
